Groot STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Academy is an Educational service to support your children to Augment their Intellectual Metrics in Robotics, Coding, and other Mathematical methods like the Abacus and Vedic-Based Math. We are located in Bangalore, India, and will soon open a franchise in Australia.
STEM education in early childhood has shown a significant positive impact on children’s ability to think scientifically and understand complex scientific processes in simple terms.
We conduct an exclusively curated practical program for students in STEM robotics and coding, which benefits them in developing their cognitive skills at a very young age. AI is now a booming field globally, and basic knowledge in this will help our students build their critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and quick decision-making skills.
These transferable skills can be applied in the future to any field that they pursue, and our team will deliver this with extensive coaching in a fun and interactive sessions that will enable our students to be independent thinkers and engaged learners.
Our Mission & Vision
At GSA we believe visual and practical learning is key for long-term memory in children. Keeping this in mind, we will be providing an interactive LSM platform that helps kids learn at their own phase using our online content. Our practical classes will be conducted both f2f and online. We provide kids with the latest kits for each course.
Additionally, we train keen students to participate in globally recognized Robotics competitions like WRO, RCJ, and ROBOFEST with hands-on resources and support to win the competition.

The Founder and CEO of Groot STEM Academy who has completed her Master’s in Biomedical and Health Science at Monash University, Australia. She majored in Neuroscience and is currently working in the research and development mainly in the clinical trials sector, Sydney. She is a visionary leader dedicated to transforming students’ education beyond academics. She strongly believes that children should develop essential skills and technological proficiency to thrive in today’s world. With a passion for innovation, she ensures that students are equipped with the right tools to succeed in the rapidly evolving digital era. Her commitment to empowering the young generation makes Groot Stem Academy a hub for future-ready learning.
Chitra Krishnaswamy

The Co-Founder & Director of Groot STEM Academy is a highly skilled trainer (India, Kingdom of Bahrain , UAE, Saudi Arabia, Srilanka) specializing in Robotics, Coding, Abacus, and Vedic Math. With over 22 years of teaching experience, she has trained more than thousands of teachers and students. Chitra also conducts math National and International level workshops and fast-track courses in Abacus, Vedic Math, and Coding, sharing her extensive knowledge and expertise with a broad audience. Her dedication and proficiency make her a valuable author, leader and educator in the field.

A valued member of our company, responsible for overseeing all design and media-related initiatives. With a keen eye for creativity and detail, she leads the development of visual content that enhances the academy’s educational materials and online presence. Prathibha works closely with the team to create engaging graphics, videos, and marketing materials that align with the academy’s vision and goals.

A dedicated member of our team residing in Dubai. With specialized training in Abacus and Vedic Math from Groot STEM Academy, she has been successfully running classes in these subjects for the past year, both online and offline. Sangeeth’s passion for teaching and her love for kids shine through in her work, making her an excellent and devoted trainer.

A dedicated trainer with over 10 years of experience in Electronics & STEM Robotics Training, he has trained more than 1000+ national and international students in STEM robotics programs. He is passionate about creating innovative robotics models and preparing students for many STEM competitions, inspiring young minds to explore technology with creativity and confidence.
Kiran Hiremath

Ms. Kiran Hiremath is an experienced educator with over 15 years of expertise in computer teaching and Abacus math training programs. She currently serves as the Training and Development Head for Groot STEM Academy in Mangalore schools, where she leads innovative learning initiatives and mentors teachers to deliver high-quality STEM and Abacus education.
